Upcycle Sewing for Summer

Yes,my upcycle sewing has been on hiatus awhile, let’s all agree, this time of year is crazy busy. A few sunny days,(a treat in spring here in PNW) means we have to get out for walks, biking, gardening, camping,Easter, spring break, golf, tulip festival etc..etc…Whew.  But now, this.

I found this snazzy rayon shift on one of my thrifty ventures, which is way too big. But it’s about to become a pair of summer palazzo pants. What do you think? Any tips on diy sewing palazzo pants? Or would you sew something different?

Stay tuned ,Cheers!

Very cute! Hard to tell from the photo how large it is, but am guessing you have accommodate the pesky crotch seam in your plans – always takes more fabric than I expect! For palazzo pants, I just essentially make pyjama pants and be done with! No muss, no fuss!
