Slow Sewing and Slow Fashion

Slow sewing is not about how fast you stitch together your fashion pattern. Rather how conscious you are in selecting the wares needed. Slow fashion is also a matter of thoughtful shopping and our purchasing  impact . Both are essential to curb our practice of over consumption and waste.  In essence quality-v-quantity . Today, it’s possible for all of us to make a decision that will have a lasting affect on our fellow workers, communities and eco-systems. Not to mention our pocketbooks.

Slow Fashion Pledge

Taking the time to act on just one change can make all the difference. So the next time you’re shopping for the latest fabric or that trendy new summer top. STOP,LOOK and THINK about why, what you buy , is so important.

It’s never too late to try. Go on, take the pledge.
