Cosy Tea to Celebrate Downton Day

Now is a great time to cosy up with some lovely tea and watch  Downton Abbey! I am so looking forward to tonight’s celebration of season 5 premiere on Masterpiece PBS at 9pm. I’ll celebrate and watch with some local Pelindaba Lavender Farm Organic Lavender Black Ceylon tea and keep it warm with one of my original handmade tea cosy. Here are a few other offerings of my unique handmade tea cosy for you to enjoy too.

Chic Mona Tea Cosy Collage

I always use a traditional cosy. Those wrap types and ‘jackets’ just don’t work satisfactorily for my teatime. I designed* these unique style cosy’s so they will fit not only your personal 16oz size pots but also a tall 42oz size. And keeps your tea nice and warm throughout your time with ‘The Dowager,Countess of Grantham’.

These three tea cosies are embroidered on front and back. Two are embellished with a pocket on the back and one has a teapot applique on the front. I upcycled textiles used for the outer fabrics and 100% cotton for inner lining. Natural cotton batting and/or insul-bright used for insulation. All are machine washable.

Contact me if you are interested in acquiring any of these Chic Mona handmade tea cosy or would like a custom made original. ( WA only)

Cheers~Mona

(oh, by the by, any day is a good day to enjoy tea 😀 cheers)

*Due to the handmade nature of Chic Mona designs, no two creations are exactly alike. Pots, utensils shown here are for display only.
